It is cheaper. But if you don't want to build it yourself there are people who build pc's.
You just need to tell them spec's you need.
For me in retail it costs around 15'000INR(discluding OS).
But if it's personal made it comes to about 10'000INR.

Definitely much cheaper to build. Spent $2500 for everything but the monitor to build what was considered top of the line back in 2008. Saved nearly $2000 because I built it.

PC case is US$30 complete with power supply (600 watts) compare to US$150 in the US.

I have the most powerful computer of 2008 with the highest graphics card for only US$ 400. The PC case only.

After building 5 custom PC's for my own use and countless more for others I'd say yes it's much cheaper. Plus you know everything you're getting when you build your own.

As for software, DONT BUY FROM MY COUNTRY. IT'S F*CKING EXPENSIVE that's why most people pirate it.

No offense, but the quality of those parts would most likely be ultra-low. You ESPECIALLY DON'T want to cheap out on the PSU. If you get a bad PSU, and it goes bad it can fry ALL your parts and then you get screwed. If you're buying a PSU I would always spend at least $60-80 on an Antec.

The built in PSU, in my case, is totally sweet. It's been 1 year since July 28 and our desktop is running 25 hours a day in 3 days a week. No problems so far.

My uncle from the US says that PC case are US$80 and the PSU are US$50? from what I understood, it's US$150 more or less.

we have stable units here so nothing to worry.

PSUs in my country are US$11.99 so there's nothing wrong with it being 'free' in the US$30 PC case. some case, the High end, are Php 2,500 (devided by 49, that's the US dollar price)

Sure it's cheaper ... if your not lame about it.

Plus, if there's a similar premade computer that costs less than the one you were going to make, buy it ~ take it apart and upgrade it.

Secondly, a PC doesn't run Windows, Windows runs on a PC.

Looks at Newegg's shipping price to Hawaii. Nope its more expensive here. Note: If I build a $600 computer no os no software no monitor keyboard etc shipping here is fucking $120.

being able to upgrade a cpu/ram/video card easily and knowing all your components in your computer as well as having the ability to overclock with ease, you should build your own computer.

@BigOnYa well, starting with, idk which emulator should i use for switch, i got a gtx 1650, do you know which one would it better for my pc?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
The switch emulators on pc rely on your CPU mostly, and they only use a single core, so GPU not as important as a good CPU. I don't use switch emulator, but many here do, and willing to help.
