Hacking Is it possible to replace DS's directional pad

I wanted to do this since Wiimote's d-pad is great but rarely used but DS is just oposite for d-pad usage and if I have this shitty d-pad as my Wiimote's I wouldnt bother since its rarely used, atleast heavily but I use DS's D-pad alot, mostly for GBA affairs.

yeah, but i dont own a Wiimote, I was asking that if people who disassembled both know its possible or not and then searching for a broken Wiimote.

They sure do look quite the same from the outside, except the wii's dpad is a bit taller. Even if it would be possible I don't know if the change would be too noticable, the wii's dpad isn't any special imo.

Not really sure about this pic http://www.totalconsole.com/catalog/TC%20-...20-%20black.jpg but it seems the DS doesn't have that circle underneath the dpad. It might be just a difference for the custom case tho, I suggest you to research a bit more into how the DS's dpad looks .
