ROM Hack is it possible to make a Chips challenge DS homebr

Chips Challenge was a game made along time ago. 1989, How hard would it be to Port that game over to a DS homebrew game?

I'd love to see that ported. I played Chip's Challenge as a kid and tried it again recently, but found I would rather play other PC games. But on the go, that's a whole different matter.

There's an opensource clone using C and SDL here http://www.muppetlabs.com/~breadbox/software/tworld/ . So yes a port is definitely possible, as there exists a SDL port for the nds. Might no be as straightforward as it sounds though.

Yeah, it was released on the C64 and the ds has a pretty good C64 emulator, doesn't it?

Yeah, It got released for the following.

Platforms: Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, DOS, Lynx, Windows 3.x, ZX Spectrum

So you could use any of these.

DSpec: ZX Spectrum Emulator for the Nintendo DS.

FrodoDS: Port of Frodo a Commodore 64 emulator for the Nintendo DS.

SpeccyDS: A Sinclair ZX Spectrum Emulator for the Nintendo DS.
