hello, I want to buy my niece a n2ds xl and she wants a cfw on it. I'm wondering if it's possible to do that on this device. I know how to install b9s on a DS. That's why I'm asking and I looked on 3ds.guide but I didnt saw anything about it :s

Depending on what's at your disposal, dsiware exploit is possible too, as is hardmodding (though I wouldn't go this route unless you have a significant amount of soldering skill)

Any method will work on the 2DS XL. The 2DS XL is just a new3DS in different shell, they only changed a few chips for it to be recognized as a 2DS XL. That bit aside, Nintendo used the same bootrom, which means any method used previous 3DS models can be used on the 2DS XL.
