Hacking is it possible to hack a 3001a slim ps3?

thanks! my bad, never tried to jailbreak a ps3 before so i just wanted to know if there were any recent ways to do it since google gave me results from before 2018

Were you able to install cfw? I have a CECH-3001A as well and am wondering if it's possible...

cfw is impossible (Han is similar to Mira on PS4 since you must run the exploit on every reboot/startup) and whatever you do don't update past 4.82 it got killed on 4.83, also unless you make ps2 classic homebrews you cant use any ps3 homebrews it's mainly for backups

If its on 4.82 you can install han.Han allows backups and backwards compatability native to the hardware minus the homebrew.
