in all seriousness, i think god as they describe it in bibles with Jesus etc is BS since Jesus was a human being like us.

But, i think some ''gods'' might exist further in the universe, either by being some kind of inteligence in the sun or Jupiter, or by being a very very ancient generation of intelligence in space somewhere, maybe there's even creatures similar to the humans, but who lived for tons of generation on a different planet or directly in space, i mean, everything is possible if you think about the fact that, planet earth is far from being the only planet with life on it. Planet earth is fun and interesting, but its only 1 planet.

Side note: Jeff Bezos is weird.

@WiiMiiSwitch There's no reason nor evidence to think a god exists. If you care if your beliefs are true, then you cannot believe in a god. It's as simple as that.

@PityOnU Pascal's Wager is not a good reason to believe a god exists. First, it doesn't actually provide any evidence that a god actually exists. Second, Pascal's Wager makes the assumption that there's nothing to be lost by believing in a god, but by believing in a god despite lack of evidence (or even evidence to the contrary in some cases), you're giving up living in reality for living in a fantasy world. I personally consider living outside reality to be detrimental to my well being. Third, one could make the argument that belief is not something one can choose; one is either convinced by an argument or they aren't. In other words, Pascal's Wager is really a choice between "don't believe in a god" or "don't believe in a god, but pretend you do and hope you fool the god you're pretending to believe in." Fourth, there are lots of god claims, and many of them are mutually exclusive. Pascal's Wager would require you to believe all of those gods exist, and that's not physically possible when many directly contradict with one another.

@Esdeath First, religions are not sources of morality; they are only sources of dogmatic and dangerously rigid proclamations of morality. "Because I said so" does not make something moral or immoral. Second, various gods, including the god of the Bible, are demonstrably immoral.
