iPhone cases rubber VS hard.

So i want to protect my iPhone from scratches and such and want to know whats best.

What's the advantage of the hard one, and soft?

Well when I first got my phone I used a silicon rubber case. It worked fine except it ripped from the inside out and soon became loose unable to grasp onto the phone. If your going for the rubber cases then don't constantly remove it in its rubber case and out. Your going to get some lovely scratches on the edge of your phone.

The hard cases are pretty good as it clips on and locks in place. The only problem I have with it is that it tends to build up dirt underneath the case. And the build quality often feels cheaply made.

I think you should buy a rubber case. It's lighter and more practical.

bought a plastic case and he never uses it.

I have two cases, both rubber and they are great, stop any scratches from appearing ( which fill the back of it like mad). Ive never really liked the idea of a hard case, too errrm ....... just makes it different.

I had a hard clear plastic case for my DS, and the dirt that built up inside wasn't pleasant to look at. I assume that can happen to the iPhone as well.

Rubber for me.

If you need only scratch protection I'd use the invisible shield. But if you need Scrach and shock protection I'd go with a hard case. I think the best is SwitchEasy's NeoTouch, because it combines Rubber for shock protection and Hard plastic for everything else. And it looks good

Yep. That's why I only use the front.

The two I'd look into are the Speck Toughskin (what I have) and the Otterbox (what my roommate has). Both are decent brands.

Nahh not at all. Well theres the fact that I put it on right after I took it out of the box...

I guess I'd prefer rubber.

More comfortable and soft on the hands.
