Hacking IOS249[56] First Time Install

Hey guys. I have modded many consoles, but always using d2x with internet connection. I have all of the IOS files, so if I add them to my SD (I have tried them in both the root and in a /wad directory). So with a new Wii, I installed homebrew and bootmii, now it's time for IOS249 then priiloader, ect. When I use Multi-Mod Manger to install 249 it will not install.

So, let's say you do not have internet, how can you install IOS249 for the first time?

Use modmii to hack it completely offline. just have a SD card available.......

Yes, I know about modmii, but how would you do it otherwise?

Use ModMii. If you do not have Windows or for some other reason cannot use ModMii, you will have to download the IOS249 WAD from an external source. For example, you can find d2x cIOS v7b1d on the WiiFlow page.

I figured it out. In Multi-Mod Manger, at the bottom where you choose another IOS, I wasn't changing it to IOS236 Whoops
