iOS 11.2 to 11.2.6 jailbroken

iOS jailbreak developer and hacker coolstar has successfully jailbroken iOS 11.2 to 11.2.6. No release date has been announced and it is unknown when the jailbreak will be released, but it's certainly possible for iOS users on those firmwares to gain full access to their system sometime in the future. The jailbreak will only be released once the vfs exploit is done.

The developer had hinted a possible jailbreak earlier on his Twitter, and now we see that it's definite possibility. This however caused quite a bit of upset for some jailbreak users, as about just a week ago, scene devs recommended people restore to 11.3.1 instead of waiting on lower firmwares. Now that this new jailbreak has been confirmed, these users are feeling disappointed that they missed this opportunity. A jailbreak for 11.3.1 has been promised however.

11.3.1 just got 2 jailbreaks rn (Coolstar's and Geo's)

+ this jailbreak won’t be released until vfs exploit is done and released and then switched the actual exploit to vfs
And the final jailbreak will be up to 11.3.1

Yeah. I thought jailbreaking was sort of pointless since most of the best mods from cydia were put into the actual updates for iOS. (Is Cydia still a thing..? lol) Cool that jailbreaks are still happening though.

Honestly the only reason I want to jaoilbreak my System is so I can use an all-access file browser and poke around in the FS.

you could just do this by installed a beta profile for either watchOS or tvOS on your phone it will attempt to update but since none are tagged as compatible for your device you will never be prompted to update
