The article I posted was a direct response from MVC to the one you did. I don't know which source is correct, and I hope it's not MVC, but this does not prove it either way.
That's because they were basically identical to the Arcade games, to the point where with a certain adapter you could play the Arcade cartridges on the home console. The prices went down when the Neo Geo CD was released and the games were re-released on CD's which were obviously much cheaper.Woah... were the games seriously $200 each? That's crazy.
