Simple solution: Download firefox
Harder solution: Fix internet explorer

Thanks for not only posting absolutely useless information, but showing everybody what an idiot fanboy you are.

Try going to add/remove programs and looking for a repair option. It could also be in the Tools menu of the internet explorer, if you can actually open it. If not, you will need to use a usb drive or other removable media with the install file for another browser temporarily until you can download another internet explorer setup file to try and repair the current one.
OMG! I am so sorry. Ill trying being less of a fan boy just for you.....

Firefox > Internet Explorer
Opera > Internet Explorer

If you are going to post how Firefox is better then IE, then don't post. That in no way helps the original poster figure out how to fix his IE problem.

How can you really delete some posts over something like that when thats all GBAtemp is. Every time someone enters the ds forum asking how do I fix my r4 everyone just starts yelling "the r4 suxs! get a cyclo" Lets face facts, GBAtemp is the place to get some info and a lot of bad advice.

serves u rite for using internet explorer xD

and honestly, i don't get people's fascination with betas (like mine
sleep.gif
). the product is clearly unfinished and unstable (hence beta), so just wait till its done mmmm k??!

*REMOVED*

Of course you could always just re format the computer and go aaaaalll the way back to the beginning eh. That by the way is the standard solution you get from most online tech help.

I keep a spare functioning set of critical applications on a Sandisk Micro Cruzer USB drive. I can basically go online with my browser on any computer I stick it in. Rather handy actually.

My post edit comment, my but the moderation in here is severe.
I'll keep that in mind and remember to not waste my time in here in the future.
If the post doesn't break any rules, then keep your hands off my posts.

I'm confused. How are you on the forum if you don't have a browser?
Otherwise, my only suggestion is try the completely useless windows help section. Surely as you can access a browser some other way you can Google the problem or something?

Firefox doesn't come with Windows, therefore, your "simple solution" is not very simple.
I think it might still be possible though. I think there is a way to download stuff through the command line.

i cant download anything from the internet and i dont know how to fix it so it does take away both simple
and harder solution. and thank you iffy525 i will google how to download stuff through a command line

mine works perfectly

thats not funny
I know it's not funny because it's the truth.
You thought it was sarcasm? well then too bad it wasn't. but I think it really depends on the computer. I use windowsXP, and it really works perfectly. not a single crash yet. But on my desktop computer (also XP) It crashes EVERYTIME. I swear, every. It crashed once, and it's not working.
but on my laptop, it works. (i'm using it right now)

EDIT:
NEVER use the system restore that is in your computer. It does no good. If your computer is from samsung (which probably isn't)
it comes with a samsung recovery program that changes everything back to how it was (the files, options, downloads, everything)
and for the above desktop that I have told you, I've just deleted IE8 in the program list, and reinstall IE7.

www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx
this is internet explorer 7 when you try to download it press ctrl incase you have pop up blocker enabled in ie7
or try to roll back from 7 to 6 (if that was the original IE version you had through add and remove
also you could try and order a copy of ie7 from microsoft (although they charge for this
mad.gif
) or get someone to send you a copy over msn or something because it shouldn't really effect the running of explorer
h**p://support.microsoft.com/gp/pc_ie_intro this page may help it also will tell you which version of IE is running because if it sees a conflict here that may be the issue because the roll back may have left something behind
i'm running out of options

How can he post things here when his browser is screwed up? He must be using another browser, why does he need to repair his IE?

Maybe... the best thing is to ask Microsoft, they might have better solutions for your PC, or when there's no hope the magic word is "reinstall"
