Internal BDdriver to USB, possible?

Hello

I have this internal BluRay reader/writer in my old computer, laying around and collecting dust
My new computer case doesn't have space for that kind of driver
Is there a way to connect it somehow to a USB 3.0 port?
It uses SATA port and power supply port just like classics HDDs/SSDs

Anyone knows anything?

You will need an external enclosure that will require a USB port and a power supply, internal SATA hookup. Simply looking up "external optical drive enclosure" will get you what you need most likely.

Are there like, just wires that would do the same?
One for data and one for power

You could probably get any usb SATA + power cable.

What i actually meant was what do i need to search for exactly? What are the terms i need to use when i search for such hardware? What is a right price for that stuff?

Usually I use terms like '5.25" usb enclosure' and in the past I would look for around £30 or less, although that was a while ago.

I meant for the wire/cable only, is it possible?

Yes, presuming it's a 5.25" drive you can get Sata to USB adapters and Sata power supply adapters.

Also check if your computer supports Esata as can then just get a sata to esata cable instead of the USB adapter.

I would have recommended this, I also have this or something very similar for hdds, BUT it does say not to use for 5.25" optical drives...
From looking at the reviews, some people have used it for optical drives, a good idea to read a little more about it I guess.

It says it supports optical drives, so sure - and if it doesn't work I guess you can just return it.
