Instinct NX purple flash then boots into OFW

My instinct NX flashes the purple light and then boots into OFW. What could possibly be my problem?

Possible symptom.

I switched the mod chip. I think I bricked the other one. I am now getting into NO SD screen. Last time I did this I booted into OFW holding volume and on, after powering off the mod chip never booted again and always went into OFW. I soldered a different DAT adapter and added more solder to SPI connector. What should I do now to avoid messing this up?

Check the light the chip is giving you it give you a hint possible problem.
