Hi there everyone,

I tried to install Zumba Fitness 2 from the disc this afternoon, and came up with the BCA errors that I have been reading about.

WBFS Error...... you know the rest

NTFS Write Disabled set ntfs_write=1

Press 1 button to dump BCA
Press B Button to go back

I have read that there could be a patch to fix this... but I am a noob and am learning slowly.

Can anyone tell me, is it possible to get by this and install this game?

If so, could someone explain how to do it.... I have read other topics and have a hard time understanding.

Should I press 1 to dump bca? Or is there another step to do befortehand. If so, please (in simple terms lol) tell me what I need to do....

Greatly Appreciated.

On your SD card, you should have a config.txt in your USB LOADER folder. Open that and paste this in your file: ntfs_write=1
Save, put back in WII and enjoy

(Thats what this line: "NTFS Write Disabled set ntfs_write=1" means actually)

Ok awesome. I will try this tonight and report back. I thought this was due to the BCA protection thing I have been reading about.

Edit***

Ok, so my config file is a sample_config.txt file. It says to rename it to config.txt to edit it. So go ahead and rename it, then paste the info and save? Do I have to put the hash mark first like all the other lines?

See the contents here:

# USBLoader config
# lines starting with # are comments
# see README-CFG.txt for help on options

# rename this file from sample_config.txt to config.txt if you want to use it.
# all setting in this file (sd:/apps/USBLoader/config.txt)
# will override the global config (sd:/usb-loader/config.txt)

# background = background.png
# wbackground = background_wide.png
# layout = large3
# covers = 1
# hide_footer = 1
# device = usb

Yes, rename, paste info and save. Don't put # in front of the line.

Ok.... so I did this just as you asked in the config.txt file:

# USBLoader config
# lines starting with # are comments
# see README-CFG.txt for help on options

# rename this file from sample_config.txt to config.txt if you want to use it.
# all setting in this file (sd:/apps/USBLoader/config.txt)
# will override the global config (sd:/usb-loader/config.txt)

# background = background.png
# wbackground = background_wide.png
# layout = large3
# covers = 1
# hide_footer = 1
# device = usb

ntfs_write=1

And when I ran CFT loader back up, it kept asking me to select my usb device, instead of the hard drive automatically booting up itself as it normally does. When I manually select my usb device my look of all the games, including the covers are not showing.

So.... I restored the file back to sample_config.txt and deleted the line, and everything is back to the way I had it (the overall style and look, the covers now showing).

Do I change this config file JUST to install the disc? Afterwards restore it back to normal to get everything working normal again?

I am such a noob at this, sorry for all the questions.

Then remove the # sign in front of the device=usb so that you have this at the end of your file:

device = usb
ntfs_write=1
And no, you shouldn't restore the file back. You can leave it as "config.txt" forever.

If your covers don't show up still and you are connected to wireless then you can just redownload them from the WII (inside CFG loader) and it should work.

Ok so after all that....

I don't have to manually choose usb device any more. Covers are all gone... but all of them are on my sd card still in their right folders????
I cannot search online for my covers because I have a semi brick and cannot access the system settings. Therefore I cannot turn my wifi on.

When I try to install Zumba fitness 2 the same thng comes up:

wbfs error: hd num sector doesn't match

Press A button to continue
Press 1 button to dump BCA
Press 2 button to go back

The part that used to show up (NTFS Write Disabled set ntfs_write=1) is not coming up any more.

What should I do with their menu offers? Dump BCA?

I have also tried to put this game in iso format via wii backup loader and the same thing comes up.

**EDIT

Tried the dump bca option. Game appears to be installing. I will let you know what happens.

Game installed. But my settings and covers reverted to default and I could not get the settings to work via config.txt.

After another hour of fighting with this, I just renamed it back to sample_config.txt and things are back to normal settings, covers showing and game works. LMAO
