I was wondering how I could install gba CIAs because when I try to install them through FBI they successfully download but when I try to open it the GBA CIA doesn't work. Is there a fix to this?

I'm on rxTools nightly (emuNAND)

You need to install it to both emunand and sysnand and also install something to the NAND but i don´t remember

Agb firm patched on emunand's nand.

The game on both emunand and sysnand SD card

i think you should install it via FBI changing destination to NAND
Don't do that. Don't do that at all. GBA games go to the SD on both nands. The patched AGB_FIRM goes to NAND. If using a New 3DS you need to change your CFW as the RxTools GBA patch will interfere with that.

Do not do this, only the patched AGB_Firm should be installed to NAND, the GBA games should only be installed to SD Card (repeat the install while in sysnand and emunand)
What do I repeat? The GBA install and how to I install to the sysNAND?

Make sure you have the patched AGB_Firm installed to both SysNAND and EmuNAND (press L while in FBI to change destination from SD to NAND)
Once that is done, switch destination via L to SD card then install the GBA games. Do this on both SysNAND and EmuNAND.

Okay, but so then does that mean that I have to first install the FBI to my sysNAND?

I need to delete it first. I want to make sure that I'm deleting the correct one. Please tell me it's the correct one (I think it is. I want to make sure before I do anything - dont want to brick another console)

As long as the ID matches and the filesize is close to that of the CIA, it is the right one
alright phew. Deleted the CIA and installed the CIA and it was successful, thansk!
-edit-
I can restart my device and nothing will happen correct? I don't have any GBA CIAS on my sd card atm

Everything is good, install GBA cias to SD card while in both emunand and sysnand and you will be able to launch them while in emunand or sysnand.

Oh wait so I only need to install it to emuNAND if I'm only going to run it from emuNAND? I usually don't use my sysNAND.
