I remember there was a homebrew application that lets you install the cias over the internet so it doesn't require you to have double the memory on your SD card, but I can't for the life of me find it can someone please link me to it?

Let's say you have 4GB free space and want to install a 2GB game. That would work. and when the cia got installed you still have 2 gb free space. It just needs these extra 2 gb to temporarily store the cia.

No, you only need twice the space for:

  • the cia on the SD card
  • the cia after it's been installed
So, no, installing over network doesn't require twice the space.

NASA and Houston will do it too. Doesn't require double space.
