Hacking Installed CIOS rev 13, Concerned, how does one go back to 10?

Hello, i just installed CIOS 38 rev 13, and 1.5 USB loader most of the games just stopped loading, so i loaded GX and now my games work again (GX works great with 13a) however incase more problems arise, how do i go back to 10?

do i just reinstall CIOS 36 rev 10?
and if so, all the CIOS 36 rev 10 installers i see are just the .dol files

i am so confused

Yes, if you want to go back just install rev10 on top of what you have now.
And yes again, the installer is supposed to be a .dol

Also USBloaderGX is a great program, I don't think you want to go back to something else after using this.

Yea cIOS installers are supposed to be .dol's that you just run through the hbc and select network install if you have wifi or wad installation if you don't and have the IOS36 or IOS38 .wad that its based on on your sd card.

Whichever cIOS installer that you run last will be the one you have as they will all just install over what is previously in IOS249 whether that one is older or more recent than itself.

Agreed. I for over a month refused to use any non-official loader. Then I started having trouble with the official 1.5 and tried GX. I'm addicted to it now...If you switch to USB Loader GX, you won't regret it.

And as for your question on cIOS installers, nabster92 is right. It's supposed to be a dol. Just run it with HBC and it will install over what you already have.

Thanks bros, My memory when it comes to these kind of things are hazy, i haven't upgraded my CIOS is over 6 months, so i was a little dusty

if you want to downgrade cios just reinstall your cios it overwrites the slot.
