Install Windows withou CD drive

    I have this laptop/umpc thing, I just bought off the net . It came with windows XP, and as usual it didn't have any CD Drive. How would I go about installing it ?

    Installing it with a USB is usually faster, so try that.

    use windows program (from the internet) to extract the contents of the cd to a usb using another computer.
    If you dont have another computer use a friends disc drive?

    Just use win to flash, a free program that converts any windows installation cd or image to flash drive. I have used it several times and is very easy. Here's the site:

    Alternatively, you can also buy a CD/DVD-drive that can be plugged into usb, in case you want to use dvd's or cd's in the future.
