Inside Man

After watching the Inside Man for a second time (great movie BTW), I thought to myself, since they didn't rob the bank, and they didn't use real guns, what kind of real trouble would they be in if they got caught, I'm assuming something to do with pissing off the police force and beating up an employee?

While I agree it was a pretty awesome film, it's pointless analysing something fictional from a factual standpoint. They were never going to go to prison.

if you mean hypothetically, then it would prob be something like this:
illegal detention (for the hostages)
resisting arrest
theft (they took the hostages' phones and stuff, right?)
and maybe a few more...
