Hi.

Ive searched all the threads but can't seem to find a recent one or one with a solution.

My switch lost its battery power and shut off and I have never been able to get it to load again with Atmosphere using the payload method with Tegra that I have used before.

I even reformatted the whole switch and SD Card (Fat32 it was suggested although ive always used exFat with no problems before).

Even followed the tutorial again from scratch...... (https://switch.homebrew.guide)

I've got a Nintendo switch Serial XAW1001490xxxx....its at 12.1.0 (did not update before any of this happened)
Console has been banned for over a year now but I never use it online so I never cared for that.
1 Owner....bought it when it came out.
Console has a non patched serial number.

I have a jig and I'm able to get into RCM.

I'm using Tegra like I've used before. RCM detected on Tegra app.

Then when I inject payload....everything says it has been successful.......but nothing shows up on the screen.....just stays black and nothing work.

This is what is says when I click Inject Payload:
No RCM device detected
RCM Device detected
Preset "PAYLOAD_FILE" set to : C:\Users\xxx\Desktop\New folder\payloads\hekate_ctcaer_5.5.8.bin
Invoking TegraRcmSmash.exe with args : "C:\Users\xxx\Desktop\New folder\payloads\hekate_ctcaer_5.5.8.bin"

RCM Device with id 0004050D0000002043B7306401101062 initialized successfully!
Uploading payload (mezzo size: 92, user size: 109903, total size: 176119, total padded size: 176128)...
Smashing the stack!
Smashed the stack with a 0x0002 byte SETUP request!
Payload successfully injected

I've tried using every payload option on Tegra from hekate to fusee primary, and reinx.

Tried tegrasmash.....nothing happens.

I have officially given up after trying a million times....... im not saying im an expert.....but I originally used SX and did the hack myself.
Then after SX died I switched to Atmosphere and did it all by myself and no problems.....until the switched turned off.

Please help!!!!

Did you try to recharge your Console over Night and then Push the Payload.
Your Switch might have enough Charge to Power up but not enough to actually boot up.

I had a similiar Problem with my Second Switch that i barely use, the Fix was to recharge it
over Night then hold the Power Button for 10+ Sec and then tap the Power Button to boot my Console.

Keep in mind that the Switch charges very slow while in RCM.

Hi,
First off thanks for the reply.
The charge is fine because when the payload is injected and the screen stays black....I just remove the jig and leave the power button on for a few seconds and it does boot up.....but on the normal non-hacked side.
Charge is full and no problems booting at all.
Thanks

Oh i thought you can't boot up your Console at all...
How is your SD Card formatted?
Are you using an Emunand?
Is Atmosphere and your Bootloader up to Date?

Do you use a virtual machine?

I AM actually using a Mac and have Windows 7 on it using Parallels.
Doing everything on the windows side.
Ive always done it this way and no problems.....unless something new has happened that it won't let it work this way??

I just erased the whole switch to factory and formatted the card to Fat32 and no dice.
Atmosphere files and Bootloader are supposedly to date since I downloaded them today when I tried again.
I use my SD card (512gb) for everything on the switch

Ok then try Rekado with your Phone or any Web Based Payload Injectors like this, or this one.

Or if you have an SX Dongle hold the Vol+ Button while the Console boots up to enter the
SXOS Bootmenu from there go to:
Options -> Payloads -> your Payload

If sysnand is above 11.0.0 you need to boot into SX OS bootloader menu while holding down + volume button, to boot into another payload, the black screen would explain the symptoms of system firmware above 11.0.0 while injecting the SX_OS.bin.

how do I check if If sysnand is above 11.0.0??
SX dongle will not work.....hold vol+ while I hit the power button and it just loads the switch regularly.
Even the dongle turns on the green light AFTER switch is booting normally.

I just cant get anything to work....every try it just boots up normal

Did you try another usb cable ? With tegra ?

The concept is that when you load SX OS above 11.0.0, it just give you a black screen, in order to boot another payload you have to get into the bootloader menu, and then boot from there. You could try to change the boot.dat to like Hekate so it load Hekate instead of SX OS menu.

https://github.com/ELY3M/sx-custom-boot.dat-maker/releases/tag/hekate-5.5.8

You can use NX-NAND Manager to check the firmware.
