I'm up for graphics manipulation with Photoshop, if you still need some help for it o.o

Going to test the patch tomorrow, best of luck for everyone involved on that project ^^~

I don't think we need any more gfx'ers

Noitora does the most and I do the things he can't do, but if we need you, I'm sure Noitora will contact you

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I thought I should post this here... x_x Sorry if I'm doing something wrong by doing so.

When I boot up the patched ROM, it works fine, except for when I select the third option on the title screen and exit. Once I exit, this rather loud and eerie cracking noise emits from the speakers, and repeats, drowning out the song played during the Title Screen. I'm just wondering, does anyone else have this problem? Or perhaps it's because it's the first patch that there is a problem? I think that's most probably the reason, but you know...

If it helps, I'm using an R4DS with V1.18 firmware, and a 2GB Kingston Micro SD (The Taiwanese version).

It happens with me too. I have a R4DS with V1.18 , and a 1GB Kingston Micro SD.

Need some help. I've found the script, it's compressed in the eve.pkb file in the script folder. I uncompressed it using crystaltile's find LZ77 data option, but my problem is that it comes out in multiple files (1372 files to be exact).

In short, how do I compress multiple files back into one?

Great work chaps. This is turning out to be a real classy gig.

Been playing this for a while now - about halfway through the campaign.

I have a general question:

Is it true that
Professor Layton and Co.
are in the game?

I'm hoping yes here.

What program did you use?
I use this one:http://www.romhacking.net/utils/511/

Well I got the dialog working by manually pasting my altered code into the 4mb file (which is very time consuming btw).

If someone tell me how the pointers work that would really help me, as right now I'm confined to the space the original text provides(thank god the script accepts 1 byte characters). Not just for the dialog, but for the files themselves too. The compressor I use (it's the same one Noitora linked to) has the code end up a different size than it was originally and if it displaces the scripts after it, it freezes the game when you get to that part. This is easy to fix when it becomes smaller, but it's a problem when it ends up bigger.

Keep it up guys, add me to the list of people who are really looking forward to seeing where this project goes. This game sounds really cool...

can you shop and translate the pictures in the help menu where it looks like comic strips explaining how the game is played and the various functions? that would help an awful lot for many of us more than any FAQ..

on a side note, i have a question, what's the menu of 3 things to the right of the match formations(where you choose 4-4-2 and others)? You access is by pressing 'Y' and '+>' on the field formation placing all the players
thanks

Strategy. 'Do best', 'attack', 'protect' in that order.
I have it translated in the next patch.

Also that's what I have in store for the next patch:

Code:
title screen(Looks almost sweet)
Consumable items, key items and equipment(names)
Killer Moves(names)
Match Formations(names)
Battle Formations(names)

All of my translations were made by Kryss.

I wish i could help in someway but I have had know luck doing much, I have translated some stuff in the eve.pkb with google and put it back in but I have no real idea where the text goes. Things like:

"I'm going to apporach it "
"Thank you"

No real help just me mucking about really.

When I'm playing with this patch it freezes when I'm playing the semi finals in the second tournament. I checked if it freezes when I play with the clean rom but it isn't. I hope you will fix this somehow^^
