Wow, was not expecting this, but it looks awesome. I loved the Zero games. The protoganist even has long female hair again, lol.

So they're designing this and putting it out before finishing the game people paid them 4 million dollars to make?

Welp. Can't say you're inspiring much in the way of confidence here, guys.

Personally I see no problem with it. They got 4mil so they might as well work on other projects, the game does look awesome from what it was shown, good ost and nice gameplay. It's not like they're not working on the other game, heck, it's probably different people working on the game, the only thing that might piss some people is the fact that unlike the other game, this one will be exclusive to the 3DS.

Infunae has had his company for a over a year... also if you look at the publisher on gunvolt.com site, it is not even Comcept it is Inti which is a subsidiary. So I have no problem with this coming out first, different teams, different coders, look at all the companies EA has producing for them. Same exact thing...

Edit: half ninja'd... ^^^

To add to this, who says they didn't start development on this before the 4 mirrion dorrar game? Apparently this game is already quite far in development.

Then they start asking for more money, show little to no progress, and change their name to Double Fine.

When was the last time we heard about Mighty No. 9?

Is "A Spiritual Successor To Megaman" going to be the cool thing to do in the gaming industry this generation? Or is it just going in-line with the global trend of reheating old and greasy burgers and putting new wrappers on them? Donkey Kong Country Returns and Tropical Freeze, Pikimin 3, Strider, Mighty No.9, Azure Striker, all of the recent HD remakes, what other new and fantastic revived zombies do you have to offer this generation, gaming industry? :tpi:

Oh, I would die for that! I've been longing for MMBN7 (Don't tell me Star Force ._.) ever since I was a kid, so a spiritual successor is as close as my dream and wish to come true ;_;

but the starforce series literally is the spiritual successor to the battle network series, no matter how you look at it.

Do you see that as a bad thing?

not in itself, but for a successor to megaman zero?
wheres the saber?

i didnt play the games in the zero series because of the robot jesus hero and the story, which seems to be the elements this new game is taking from the zero series, but for the sword, the dashs, the walljumps and such.
