Hey guys long time no post

Im in a bit of pickle iv got a wii and its been a very long time since iv done any custom stuff with it but im looking to revert it to a "virgin" wii and play legit games but i need to update my wii to play the games and of course with the IOS's and priiloader im stuck could you guys be amazing and point me in the direction of a guide to revert it to a legit state

Just a question. Why would you like to revert the Wii to it's original?

EDIT: If you made a NAND backup and before hacking then restore it using BootMii, I THINK it will put it back to it's original state. Also DON'T UPDATE the sytem menu because you might brick your Wii.

I want to play some more of the recent games with the legit discs and i just want it back to normal

Well you can play the recent games even if the Wii is hacked. You just need the proper anti-brick protection so that the legit games you will play won't update your Wii and brick it. For that you need to go to Priiloader and in System Hacks, Enable "Block Disc updates" and "Block Online updates". Also, re-softmod using Modmii if you want.

EDIT: It's all in you if you want to un-softmod your Wii or just leave it hacked but if I were you, I will leave it hacked.

Install bootmii incase you haven't already and make a backup of your current nand.bin
You can use ohneswanzenegger by giantpune to format the current nand and update it to whatever system menu you desire leaving you with a fresh virgin nand.bin that you can restore with bootmii

depending on the modding you done.(the extent). your wii will never be a "virgin". yes you can get rid of all the goodies.(priiloader,HBC...ect). but the info will still be in the nand. so if you send it to nintendo, lets say to be repaired. they will know what was done.
the easiest way. to do what you want. remove priiloader FIRST!!.. just go into the folder in your apps. an highlight remove priiloader.(bottom left of the screen.). once thats done, load the hackmii installer,( you have to add this to the apps folder, an launch like regular homebrew). the choices will come up to "install or uninstall.
then if you do all this correct, pop in a disc with an up date, an update away you do understand updating with modmii would be a lot easier. run sys check drag/drop in modmii.. an it will give you all the current ios/cios an every thing.you need to play "legit" games. going the route above.if you take one miss step, you will/can brick.

I completely agree. You can play any legit games even if your Wii is hacked just as the Wii is properly softmodded.

But I highly doubt that he can do a damn thing to fix your wii He might just damage it even more with his water/wine routine.
