Is it possible to inject a Pokémon Brilliant Diamond Or Shining Pearl save file on my switch if I don't have the game using JK, ECT?

This isn't really true. If you build it yourself and have someone that can export the save info file thing I added, you can create and import saves for games you don't have. I added it a few months ago because of games checking for other saves to wall off content. I also don't know how this place would deal with sharing them here because they're the nacp and icon thrown into a file from your system. You need a save on your switch to load it with jksv, doesnt matter if its just a started game, jksv wont display the game for restore if there isnt a save

I think I have the file for Let's Go Eevee and I can export Diamond for you and give some instructions for how it works if you want. If you can't build it, let me know. I'll post one here. It has been a while.OHHH going to try it
OK? Who was talking about checkpoint?Wrong you won't even see the game on checkpoint list if you don't initiate the game for the first time.

not anymore if using JKSVIm saying in general you need a save to be initialize for you to inject a save, so @Xjackio is correct and you are wrong.

OK. I'll attach it. Just copy and paste the stuff in the zip where it needs to go. The svi files need to be in the 'svi' folder inside the JKSV folder. When you start up JKSV, press X with your user highlighted and this should pop up:yes please, I have Lets go eevee already, I hate how they locked mons in Legends if you don't have the other game save files
Wow, i havent updated jksv in a long time, bc it worked just fine for me, or maybe i didnt even bother to test other things with it, thxOK. I'll attach it. Select Create save data and then a different menu should open with your games listed. If everything is where it should be and I'm remembering correctly, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond should be in you list now. Just highlight and press A and it should create an empty save for it.View attachment 298053
That should be enough. It worked to get me Mew and Jirachi before. Let me know if anything odd happens or you have trouble. It's been a while since I've sat down and worked on it to be honest. Data Management will show an empty icon for the save. JKSV can delete the save too once you're done since it'll be easier to find.

I have Let's Go Eevee if that helps. It's an old dump from before I added the icons to the end though. I believe they still work, but you're gonna get a generic gray icon for it with the title id.Do you know where I can get an SVI file for Let's Go Pikachu?

Thanks a ton for this! I attempted this just now and was able to create the save data. Unfortunately, Legends Arceus doesn't seem to recognize the save. The console lists it as "???" with no thumbnail. I saw where you mentioned this wasn't an issue for getting Mew/Jirachi in BDSP, but maybe that's not the case for Legends Arceus? Would it be possible to fill in the missing info with an updated svi to see if that fixes it?OK. I'll attach it. Just copy and paste the stuff in the zip where it needs to go.
