that after all these years, there hasn't been some sort of hack or mod to trick the wii into thinking that a classic controller or even wiimote was a gamecube controller, so those of us that want to rock some old school goodness (without owning a Gamecube) without having to nuzzle up to the console with those 3 feet wires

Technically you can use a classic controller with Nintendon't, but it requires a CC to USB adapter. Perhaps Wiimote support will be added in the future.

I know about the wireless GC controllers. I was just hoping there was some sort of tweek the controller options
