Hacking im getting a dvd error from my back up loader!

I've noticed you seem to be trying the same game - Animal Crossing. I've seen a number of posts regarding this title and some people seem unable to get it to work properly with the backup loader.

Do other game backups work? Maybe if you try another ISO, something like Mario Kart, or Wii Sports (backups where people usually have no issues).

If I were you i'd also downgrade to 3.2 using the cIOS downgrader and get starfall on there. I can imagine how your thread will sound if you end up bricking the thing.

I don't think it can get much worse. Maybe if he bricked it he'd stop posting demanding help, violating user agreements and broadcasting the fact that he's stealing, instead of at least being classy about it and saying his backup won't work. I'm not the morality police but for christ's sake it's outlined in the terms and conditions of this board to not facilitate piracy.

Hmmm, yeah I think you need a copy of the sicsuicide wad, I hear it's the best backup loader channel, lol.

But uh yeah, nothing will work if cIOS fails to install properly first.

The Waninkoko cIOS installer requires a wad that doesn't actually come with the installer, as the README says. You need to extract it from a game disc with a utility (I forget the name) or search using Google, we can't give you a link, the code is copyright. I'm talking about Waninkoko's cIOS installer. It is what makes all the magic happen. Oh, if you are at 3.3, try Waninkoko's IOS downgrader to get to 3.2.

Anyway, I hope you read the instructions in the sticky and djtaz's sig. It really is all there.

Also, to get more help, it makes it easier on us if you post exactly what you did and in what order.

Maybe that's why he is getting errors from BL.

People tell them they should search because you can find answers now to most problems, but soon when people search it will bring up hundreds of posts which tell people to search.

I know how to fix it but theres no way im going telling you with that attitude you have.

To be quite perfectly honest , your the first person that i have wished that they do actually brick their wii installing this and as everyone on here knows im usually quite helpful to anyone who makes a little effort.

You have annoyed and insulted me , and i do believe that most of the people who know the answers to things on here have a mutual respect for one another and because of that the only 'help' you will now get is people giving you links to installers that are known to damage your wii.

Once you manage to brick your wii and you ask for help , you will again be rejected any assistance.

We're all nice people and are hoping by setting a positive example he could pick up on it. Which obviously just isn't working anymore.

Instead of giving a man a fish, we're trying to teach him how to fish, at least the few of us still taking more initiative than he is, but he just wants to be lazy and call us assholes for it.

I didn't mind at first in the hopes that someone else could see the halp I posted and solve their problem in a popular thread without having to dig too much, but now it's becoming so down-laden with insults and childish behavior, I'm not even bothering since people would have to wade through all of that to get to pertinent information.
