But yeah, uninstalling any IOS below 200 or so is just asking for problems. Try to avoid doing that in the future.

I thought it wasn't there first so it can be missed, so yeah.

I agree.

You just killed your wii. Your wii can not have bootmii installed to boot2 at all.

The only thing you can do is send it to nintendo or buy a new wii. You should have done better research and read things better. If you read the guides they all say to NEVER uninstall anything.

If you do send it to nintendo then expect to pay a huge fee for them to fix it. And if you do have them fix it or you buy a new one then dont try modding it.

And there isn't a solution involing my wiikey2 chip?

when on the homebrew channel i can see priiloader but I'm not sure if it's installed.

So can you get to the homebrew channel? Now
Your advice is useless. The reason you see priiloader in HBC is because thats the installer app for priiloader. No matter what it does not help the OP one bit at all.

So, can you get to the homebrew channel currently?

seriously, how could anybody possibly think that deleting every wad they have is a good idea?

that's like me saying... 'hey guys, i want to virginize my wii, should I delete all the files using Any Title Deleter? Or should I throw it against the wall (since the end result is usually the same)?'

seriously, F***ing stupid if u ask me... but its okay, u've paid the price for your mistake (about $200 bucks the last time I checked the price of a wii) and hopefully you learned from it (by learning from this mistake, I mean, either NOT modding wii's in the future, or reading a guide and not just guessing what u need to do)... I mean, honestly, why do people GUESS what they need to do to their wii's? That's probably the biggest thing I don't understand... what are they thinking... something like, "hmmmm, I want to do mod X to my wii, but instead of googling it, let me just try installing a bunch of wads... hmmmm, that didn't work... maybe uninstalling them will work better.... uh oh... what happened? I guess I should go google my problem now... I wish I would've done that 2 hours ago!"

w/e, better luck next time OP

You're right, I know I've made a big mistake and I have to suffer the consequences, but instead of getting all worked up you could try to help me.

The exact ios70 wasn't there first. There was another version in place. When installing the wad, you overwrited the old version. By uninstalling the wad, the old version doesn't return.

System menu 4.2 uses IOS 70. If you delete it the system menu won't load.

Only way to get out of this brick is bootmii.

But how do I do that?
by installing bootmii as boot2 (if it was possible, we'll never know now.) before your shit got bricked!

Its's installed as an ios

I believe the only way for you to get back and running is with a Infectus chip, install BootMii and restore your system with a donor dump. Oh.. and also get your wii keys.

He doesn't have a nand backup. The only way this works is if he has an older Wii with a vulnerable boot1. Can't find his serial block on Wiitracker...odds don't look good.

Time to part that bitch out on Ebay. Wait -- the drive is probably worthless, too. Anybody need a BT module?

he could get £30 or so for his dvd drive if its not a newer one on ebay =)

Also noobs! gotta love em, blind leading blind.

As said before system menu 4.2 runs off IOS 70, if yo dont have preloader or bootmii you are royally screwed, time to call Nintendo or stip that mofo for ebay.

Take a look at this http://www.wiidrives.com/identify?serial=leh21855628
does this help anything?

I do know that my modder needed to remove a clip from the drive and replaced it.
No epoxy and just the wiikey2.

If there was any chance of your wii being repaired, I would've helped you fix it... but since it can't be repaired, I tried to help u in the only way I could... by trying to teach u to think/research before doing. Anyways, deadlyfoez said it best (see below)... so stop asking for help. Either send your wii to Ninty and probably pay a fine, or buy a new wii, or live without a wii. Those are your only options.

Sorry that you had to learn your lesson the hard way... at least feel better knowing that this thread may serve as an example to others, so that other noobs don't repeat your mistakes.

I already said it, he completely killed his wii, there is no chance at all to gettig it running again because he has an lu64+ wii and made the really dumb mistake of not making a nand backup.

He can use the cboot.dol loader with bootmii and bring up multi mod manager and readd the system menu and ioses! (MMM is compatible with both gamecube controllers and Wii)

I don't understand why people are arguing against DeadlyFoez and I when we obviously know what we're talking about... so unless you are giantpune or some1 on his level, you should just take our word for it.

Btw, he can't use cboot2 if he can't get to bootmii, he can't access bootmii because he doesn't have it installed as boot2. And for him to access bootmii as IOS (if he even has it installed, I can't remember), he needs to get to the HBC, or priiloader, before getting to bootmii. And since the OP can't get to the HBC, priiloader, or bootmii, the cboot2 method will not work.

like I said above, the OP only has 3 options.... fixing the wii is NOT one of them (@ least not without ninty's help), so there is no point in trying to offer other solutions.

Well I do know that by now, but I really do appreciate you even looking into this thread. You can't help someone with an unfixable problem, you can call me a noob or anything and you are right. I messed up my wii by being too hasty and dumb to make a backup and not reading guides that say how to deïnstall the homebrew channel. I'm going to make backups from everything important. XFlak, maybe you and some other people can make a proper guide for unïnstalling everything from the hombrew stuf and restoring yous IOS's to ther previous state. Because I had to modify one and didn't know how to change it bag so I deleted the thingy that changed it but it just made things worse. With this I'm thanking everyone who looked into this and who was trying to help me.

I don't have bootmii in boot2. I can't reach it in my wii's current state.

I may make a "virginize" option for NUSAD to make the process even easier... but there is already a guide to virginize wii's, for future reference, u can find it here
