Gaming if I upgrade to 5.03 GEN-B, do I have to change the popsloader files?

Those who you have will work.
I use the same pops files as I used on 5.00 M33-6.
They work perfectly with both 5.03 GEN-A and 5.03 GEN-B.
Do not forget to check your plugins list before you port all of them.
Some plugins are not to smart to use with the unhackable moterboards.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)+1 -

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
