Hacking if i format emunand from sys settings would it also delete saves in sysnand?

So i have 2 sd cards that i use (one for emunand the other as the main one) my question is if i format the emmunand from sys settings will it delete all of my saves or not?

If this would be the case, it would make the sense behind the emunand useless, right? Or how it works. Whatever.

It will only delete the saves made by the emuNAND. But seriously, get rid of the emuNAND.
