Just a little warning to everyone who has Installed the IDU Package or has Plans on Installing it just for the F.

The feature sets are quite nice, but You have to be very careful when you open or traverse inside the menu.

There are no Safety checks for the end user and there is no going back to any buttons pressed that you mistakenly do. (be it from Formatting the Memory Card/ or restoring the Vita it is a one touch execution).

it will not ask you "are you sure you want to do this sht" SO BE VERY CAUTIOUS

just incase you do mess up, it might cause a semi-brick.

your Vita will definitely be a DEMO unit everytime you boot it, even after Restoring

Disable Demo mode by L+R+U+S
just Install Henkaku again (and offline too)

reinstall the IDU package (because the original bubble will not be visible.)
restore your hax and be careful next time. :P

btw, I'm sharing this because I learned the hard way by pressing stuff and sht.

Might try this on my Ps TV since I consider it kind of disposable.
Though looks like you should be fine with common sense.
Do you have package installer? If so, did you have to do something special to enable it? That's probably my only curiosity with idu

You have to do some app.db modifications to enable package installer. Hackinformer should show you how it's done. Do that while in CEX mode and the bubble should appear. You won't be able to use it until you enter IDU mode though.

Yeah, as soon as I asked I stumbled upon the guide to enable it.
I'm assuming by CEX, you mean the user mode triggered with L R Start and Up right?

in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
