Homebrew idea sending inputs into 3ds from pc

with kernel access would it be possible to do this it could be used to play smash 3ds with game cube controller or bot pokemon for auto shiny hunting with out makeing a machine to do it

If you hooked it up to a CFW with a debugger, potentially. I'm not sure if you can create a program for the 3DS that emulates inputs, but receiving them from a computer should be no problem. As I said, it's acting upon it that'd be troublesome.
 
I know you want shinys but you cant make a program that collects shinys.

It would have to detect that and it would prob just get a pikachu and say its a shiny.

But i do think it might be possible.
