I'm VERY disappointed with what I've created so far, but I thought I'd at least show you.

The only thing that is semi-satisfying is my drawing of a filter.

im not, difference is Joostin is hand drawing icons not google ripping images and resizing, cropping them, then adding "App Title"

Of course I'm going to add the title to the icon, but I drew that filter myself. I don't just Word Art. I really don't feel like receiving suggestions from you either.

Hmm... what about sucking the word "Filter" into the Filter?

Like:

Homebrew
o>= Filter

Or

Homebr>=Filter

(with "ew" on top of the Filter)

Or

Homebrew
>=ilter

("F" on top of the Filter)

?

Ah and making the Filter deep purple™ would look better than gray, wouldn't it?

Are you going to add that glossy style to the writing, just as in DML-Installer or Settings-Editor-GUI icon?

Those are great ideas, thanks. I actually did add a little gloss to the text, but I didn't do a very good job. I was so frustrated at my idea not working that I didn't spend too much time on it.

Ugh, I don't know what to do. "Homebrew" takes up so much room that I can't do anything cool with the filter. If I made "Homebrew" any smaller, the text is barely readable. Will either of these work?
