or perhaps it was set to auto boot the gm9 firm when they did whatever with setting up the cfw.If you see GodMode9 at start up, then something could be veeeeeerrryyyy wrong..
Either:
A) boot.firm on the SD is GM9 somehow, instead of Luma3DS (or another CFW)
B) Your start button is broken and seems to be reporting to the system that it's being held down.
To make sure this is just A and not B, go to https://github.com/LumaTeam/Luma3DS/releases and download the latest release.
Unzip it, then copy boot.firm to the root of your system's SD card.
