Unless you have an old psp with a pandora battery there is nothing you really can do... :/

I can't tell if you're being serious or not.

What PSP do you have?
-1000 - Buy a Pandora, then downgrade to a firmware you can get back to CFW on
-2000 depending on Motherboard, Ta-088v3 then you're screwed, if it's anything different, you should be fine, just grab a Pandora.
-3000 You're screwed as you've upgraded, with no way to downgrade to even get to temp CFW

But updating to OFW will pretty much mean that a non-PSN game wouldn't work on a Memory Stick...

Exactly what the people before have said. Since it's a 1000, it's as easy as getting a Pandora Battery and making a Magic Memory Stick (or buy one in a combo if you can't make one). Then, just put the stick in, hold L, and put in the battery and let the magic happen (no pun intended).

Double post, my bad. If it's a PSP 1000 battery, you can softmod it to be a Pandora. If you have a friend with a hacked PSP (all 1000s make pandoras, but 2000s are a gamble), s/he can make a Pandora for you.

Well, it can be made into a magic memory stick, but you'd need to backup everything on it if you want to use it for games and saves afterwards.
