Hacking I need help

My R4 has suddenly stuck on the "Loading" page for some reason. I had my R4 for a year...no problems...until now. My R4 has everthing it needs: _DS_MENU, _DS_MENU.SYS, and _DS_MSHL.NDS (V 1.18) What's the problem?

Fully format the SD card with the Panasonic formatter and replace the firmware with a freshly downloaded copy. That usually works.

:l, Where do I get the Version 1.18 Firmware? I don't think that I'll be able to get the V 1.18 Download at the Official R4 website because when I tried to download new firmwares there, it says that it couldn't find the page. :s

check the gbatemps download section duh.
OR maybe the connection between your r4 and ds is starting to go. this is what i did:
open up r4, place a piece of paper behind it, put it together, and then it works without no problems.

I did that Before you told me to check the Downloads section, thanks anyways, I know that R4 isn't the best, I rushed on the Username.
