(one day this will happen and I will be happy)

Hi. I have a copy of Animal Crossing: City Folk on a disc, and I want to play the popular mod Animal Crossing City Folk Deluxe on real hardware because I have OCD problems. So far, I've been emulating it on Dolphin with an Xbox controller at 480p with a CRT filter. But it's not on real hardware!!!1

:(:(:(:(:(
I'm too lazy to insert the disc into the console because my cousin once inserted a Gamecube disc into his Wii and left it there, and the disc drive died (true story). I don't want that exact same thing to happen to my beautiful beloved 2007 Wii, I want to play other games on the original disc because I collect video games!

But NoooOOOOOoooo, Riivolution is too paranoid about piracy and won't even allow that Wii ISO jukebox thing to work, and I'm too lazy to make Riivolution 2! I don't even know how to code!

I've tried various sacrifices involving chickens, SSD storage, soldering and burning my thumb, turning clay bricks into the shells of various video game consoles, and various others etc. but they won't seem to work. What if ACCF magically skyrockets in value and a friend that likes Animal Crossing can't afford the disc anymore and hates Dolphin so we can't use Wi-Fi sharing anymore?

Or what if I find a really cool game that got a Riivolution patch, but I can't find the game on any digital platforms or that ISO maker thing refuses to work because it's on Windows and the year of Linux already happened,
so I have to spend a million dollars for a flimsy disc that's cracked and then I have to spend another million dollars to "resurface" the disc, and then the hack won't work because it was the incorrect region?

tl;dr it would be cool if Riivolution patches could work on USB loaders but I'm too lazy to make that happen

LMAO someone actually did it
I managed to get a working ISO out of RiivolutionISOBuilder.

First, build it as usual. Whether you enable the Classic Controller patch is up to you (it works fine from what I tried.)

Once you get your output ISO, extract it using either wit or Dolphin.

Go into the mod's accf_deluxe/game/ folder. Copy over the corresponding module kmdl for your game copy's revision and region in the accf_deluxe/game/Brewster/ folder. In my case it was module.USA_REV_0.RELEASE.kmdl

Paste it into the files/ folder within your previously patched-then-extracted ISO. Rename this file to "module.kmdl"

Your files are now ready to be repacked again into an ISO or WBFS. You can do this with the
Code:
wit copy <input> <output>
command.

You can tell you did all this correctly if the skin color picker shows up in the bus ride with Rover.

What the fuck is Riivolution? I haven't used a Wii for so long I've forgotten and can't be fucked searching it now. As for sacrifices, you're meant to offer a beautiful 20 year old virgin girl to your high god on a day dedicated to them. If you are a white American then your ancestry traces back to the Anglo-Saxons and you must offer your sacrifice to Woden on a Wednesday, the day of Woden.

I don't know how but I swear one of the sacrifices worked

Now to start another dozen sacrifices to make Tinke replace specific OAM textures for that translation I'm working on

I’m trying to follow the same process, but for Wii Sports Resort using the Wii Sports Resort: Storm Island mod pack. However, when I run RiivolutionISOBuilder, I immediately get an error. It looks like there’s a commit on GitHub that fixes this issue for a different game, but I’m not experienced enough with GitHub to pull that code or test whether it would work here. Are there any known solutions for this, or am I just stuck banging my head against a wall?

This looks like a serious post. You're not gonna find any help in the EoF dude. :P
