Homebrew I lost my original hs.app and want to get it back, help?

You can get it back easily from the system update files. Just find an update pack and take out the .cia related to hs.

Everything related to the system menu are in the update packs. Thats normally how they get fixed if they are ever damaged for some reason.

As far as hs goes there have been 3 updates to the app since the 3DS launch.

So I can just find the cia from a ctrtransfer pack, convert it to app, then inject?

You shouldnt have to convert anything, just sift through the update pack and find the one .cia among all the files to install hs.

i had the same problem, i just delete with fbi and found the qr from one website that i don't remember, but you can download it with 3dnus. here the list:http://3dbrew.org/wiki/Title_list

The easiest way to fix it is to delete the system title for h&s in fbi and then do a system update. This'll work even if you're on the latest version.
I used this to restore my h&s app as well as my agb and twl firms.
