I was ebaying for a copy of Pokemon Red and I found this
I bought it right away of course. Check out some of the other copies of Red. Standalone, same price.

Anyway, I posted this because of the Gameboy's condition. It's missing the frame on the screen. Could I easily make one or will I have to send it in to Ninty?

Dude, there is no way Ninty would fix that, they stopped making those years ago.
BTW: I have 2 original Gameboys and neither of them are at all broken

I went to the swatmeat a long ass time ago and I bought a gameboy pocket. Perfect condition. No scratches nothing brand new. I was amazed. The lady said it belonged to her daughter and that she didnt use it much.

Having the Big Gray Brick is awesome and all, but the fact of the matter is, the Game Boy Pocket is just a far superior model. You would be wise grabbing one of those.

what is the big deal with the GBP? I have found the backlit version of the GBA SP to be the best console for playing GBO games.

as for a flashcart, the is several usb gameboy carts around, I have one of these http://www.smartboy.ugu.pl/

Am I reading that right? $50 for a 32megaBIT cart? Wow... I think I'll just stick to emulation on the PSP for GB/C at that price.

Ah well, my GBASP is the frontlit kind anyway.

I had a Gameboy Colour. But I gave it to my cousins in Greece when I got my GBA. Worst move I ever did. [IMG]

Do you mean the Japan-only Game Boy Light? Because those things are great. They take 2 AAs and have a nice green glow to them. I

I want an original GB. My Gameboy Color just isn't retro enough for me (though the nostalgia factor's through the roof)
Playing Pokemon Blue through on my GBC (no mods though the speaker's pretty much dead [IMG] so it could do with a new one of those) and loving it [IMG]
