i`ve heard rumors that the AK2i runs on a battery
is this true or not?
This confuses me, if you're asking what I think you're asking then no. It's like any DS game, just plays then when the DS dies you can't play anymore.
EDIT: Sorry if I don't get what's going on. lol
i mean like, my freind said the round chip in there is really a battery, is he right or not?
The round chip... is a glob top encapsulated chip.
Tell him he's a very stupid person and he should shut up.
Awesome post, lol
No, it isn't true and wouldn't make very much sense when you think about it.
It's really just a chip.
Isn't it a bit too thin to have a battery?
The OP is thinking of those batteries that are in some of those fake gba games.
What would the battery be for anyways?
DS games use flash memory anyways.
I guess for an everlasting effect? Maybe a few too many Duralast battery commercials?
I honestly have no idea.
It is amazing that one would seemingly join temp just to ask this, though the possibility he was a long time lurker still exists.
no, there's never a battery in a ds card, they all take power from the dses internal battery.
what? that's blasphemy.
and acekard's cant talk
if there was a battery, then how are you supposed to recharge it?
Presumably the power from the DS would keep the battery charged. If it had one. Which it doesn't.
All carts run on the DS's contacts . Except for the EZ Flash 3 in 1 which has a battery but that's different.
Don't confuse the guy
Simple answer: No slot 1 card has a battery in it. (including acekards)
