So.. if you could make the DS stays in "DS Mode".. just a thought.. DS games also access the ARM7 cpu, so if you could change a gba rom into a DS rom (a DS rom with no ARM9 code, just ARM7), then.. the game could work..

The ARM7 is used for input and sound whilst in DS mode. It's not going to happen.
Just a note: The official DS devkit (AFAIK) doesn't allow developers to use the ARM7. Which is why nearly all games use pretty much the same (not exactly the same) ARM7 binary, which is why you can swap the ARM7 binaries of commercial games, and they still work.
devkitARM allows you to use both CPUs, but you're still going to need something watching the input registers.
