I have a question about the ROM numbers

    Hello.
    Im really confused...
    Before the rom name there is always a number like 3384, this is the release number, right?
    Sometimes, i can find the same rom from the same group, with a diffrent number, what does it mean? (the number is not listed in your releases information however its still the same gruop).

    Is that mean the website change the number? if so, why?

    There are two groups that number the roms. One group includes DS/DSi roms in their system and the other doesn't.

    ahh.. no.. i mean, in every website the numbering is different, so i just wonder if its really mean something, and if i should look only for the number listed here on gbatemp.

    There's no single group that decides it, so different sites can list different things because of disagreements.

    This is true. I would just go by what gbatemp says as it is the most accurate. It lists DSi games as separate numbering.
