Also in addition to how it's uncomfortable, one of mine drifts, and the other sticks.
So I play games that don't require it, or let me change movement to the D-pad.
Thing is I can't really know which of these is true for a game until I try it.
Problem with that being that's a huge waste of time. So instead, I'll ask!

MGS: Peace Walker
Crisis Core

Do either of those have the option to use the D-pad instead of the analog nub?

There's a simple reason why you hate the analog nub.
It's shit.
Pretty much... though I know one person who loves it (and hates the x360 analogs, which are awesome)
I prefer concave analog sticks, and the PSP analog stick is too small and it just doesn't allow enough movement.

Is just that I'm scared I'll break it like my first psp

My finger only gets sore while playing Peace Walker. You have to tilt the nub just a liiiiiiiitle bit to sneak around, and since you're sneaking around pretty much the entire game, my thumb gets pretty tired.

^ This, plus at the end you have to constantly press the triangle button. My triangle button was almost jammed, after 50 tries.

Bro, joysens

its hard to configure though. and sometimes it doesnt work. but better than drifting nubs.

Te nub that drifts doesn't go all the way in the opposite direction of the one i drifts in, so the analog's still useless with that one, and with the one that sticks it's really annoying to use and hurts too quickly.
