yeah that is technically the reason but the specifics are that a person uploaded a bunch of full 3ds games like ssb4 and smm that actually worked
That's nothing new, I remember other games being uploaded, like Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. Surely what you mention was the last nail on its coffin.
