This should serve as a warning.
Sony is being a pussy so hide your hacks.
Banning people for having hacks?... What should they do, just not try at all?

Banning people is completely understandable. What's not understandable is trying to sue every person who commented on a Youtube video.

When I think of all those people with CFW that had PSN+ and/or still wanted to buy games from PSN.

Sony will certainly lose more money than they'll win by banning people....

(it's not like it's their first stupid action that makes them loose money looks like they like that).

...This hating on Sony for trying to protect their console is stupid. Microsoft have been doing this for years. Yeah they'll lose a bit of money but in the grand scheme of things its a much better deal for them. They're showing the devs that they're protecting the console from online hacking/cheating and piracy by giving consumers a strong incentive not to hack the console.
This is what they should've done instead of suing Hotz and feeding his ego.

that was quick, thought they would allow a grace period between the announcement

I guess this was brought on by the second PSN bypass released last week

I am still online , they didnt get me yet ..

I do understand that they've done this to protect their system and shows devs that they are protecting all the hard work they do on that system.

The problem is that PS3 is much more hacked IMO than Xbox 360 is, look at all those psn bypass which have been released in a matter of month.

Now that people are banned, they will probably start to have a look at mac address spoof + console unique psn id changing...

And consequences will be far worse than what's happening now...

Can anyone with two ps3s (one legit 3.56 ofw and one hacked 3.55 cfw) that use the same psn account for both confirm if the banning is just a console ban or if it is a full account ban?

As soon as I saw an app called FuckPSN I was like hmm Sony will not be amused

So do any of those utilities that change you mac adress or system ID exist yet? Do they fix anything?

THE INFINITE QUESTIONS THAT ARE NOW AVAILIBLE TO BE ASKED.

Why not, instead of requesting somebody to own 2 PS3s, to ask for somebody that has a banned PS3 to attempt to create another PSN account and see if that will get them back on? But I would assume Sony is doing a console ban, similar to how Microsoft took care of the 360 pirates...Setup a black list of system IDs and BAM, you be f*cked like a duck.

I for one am personally glad Sony has finally gotten their act together and started taking action and is attacking other people other than the prick GeoHot, what a douche, I hope the courts show him no mercy.

If that's the case, then some people(with the money) will have to buy another ps3 if they want to stay online.

Here is a great idea;

If you want to continue using PSN;
1)Don't softhack or mod your PS3 in any way.
2)Don't use cheats or hacks on your account.
3)Don't Pirate games.
4)Don't attempt to sue Sony or otherwise piss them off.

It's a smart move by SONY. You dont see much of those by SONY these days...

Banned people will start buying new consoles (non hacked), as you can use your account on other PS3.
