Yea, well, I don't really know where I got it, but it's here.

When I booted my computer this morning, I got a weird screen saying something like "installing blablabla for blablabla".
It was a little screen you sometimes get when reinstalling windows. On windows 2000, it would say something like, installing default desktop, internet explorer, settings, etc. That little window.

Then my computer was Uber slow. So I checked taskmanager...
Well, take a look:

Looks pretty fucked doesnt it

Side information:
Running Windows7.
Got AVG, but he's not like, removing anything.

So, anyone known with this virus and capable of helping me with it?

You're using AVG?

That's you're problem then, it's a bag of crap, buy some decent anti virus software

You may need to remaster if that message you put up is still scrolling !

So, besides AVG, what's another free anti virus that doesnt eat your CPU?

And gonna try the Malwarebytes anti malware thing now.

I use Avast 5.0, its pretty good but thats off-topic

Can you give us more details, is it affecting your computer besides making it super slow, you can still access the internet, go to microsoft websites, any odd things popping up while on the net?

Hmm, gonna try avast then.

And, it doesn't really do anything besides slowing down my computer. Oh, yea, when using firefox, I get the message that a script on some websites can't be run, something with a chrome file. Never had that before..

make sure you download and run Malware bytes first and after its finished then install it if its clean

Microsoft Security Essentials is free, and it putting a lot of the other Antivirus/Spyware apps to shame...

Yea, malware bytes is still scanning, so still waiting for that..
If it doesnt work, Im gonna look into that combofix.

Edit:
Thank you all. Malware Bytes saved my computer, so thank you Zeromac

If it happens again you could always attempt to end the process and see if that ends them all or just one.

Malware Bytes helps a lot, I use Avast 5.0 though, I'm kind of a computer/gaming nerd, unfortunately for me v_v , so if you ever need help again, ask away.

Well, that was gonna be a little hard, since it kept executing another one all the time.

Spybot Search & Destroy is a good free spyware remover that also gets rid of stuff like what you just experienced. I also has an immunizer utility that blocks a lot of crap from ever being allowed in the PC in the first place.

Spywareblaster is a good one to have and keep updated. While it doesn't "clean" spyware, it's like the immunizer in Spybot, it actively prevents certain crap files from being allowed in your computer.

Adaware is a popular one, but Malrwarebytes seems to have taken over the necessity for it. And you already used Malwarebytes....

If I suspect I have some spyware, I run all 4, between them, at least one of them usually takes care of whatever problem that might have gotten in. Can't speak for my brother though.
