At 3pm of June 10, 2010, I finally got my very own Tablet - a 3.5" tablet that I dreamed.

The budget that was used from my aunt in the US, my aunt in Canada and my mom here in the Philippines as my birthday gift.

With my Sparkling Brand New Nokia N900, I can now explore a glimpse of Linux and hopefully improved my programming skills by using the Qt languange.

It's Php 25, 400 including all the taxes you can think of here in the Philippines.

pictures below

PS: My GLOBE sim is an asshole. I cant connect in 3G because of the slow connection. Im connected by unable to open OVI and other websites. Fuuuuuu

I wouldn't call it a tablet, but anything beyond 3" is awesome!
It used to only have the features of a internet tablet like it's predecessors in its series, but they just went all the way and added the phone functionality. Now it's a smartphone I guess, though with the Maemo OS of it's predecessors, rather than the typical Symbian OS you see with all the other Nokia phones. Also, it at least has a resistive touch screen, so it can use a stylus, typical of a "tablet". Not that I care if anyone wants to call it one or the other. Heck, Nokia doesn't even market it has an internet tablet anymore, even though it is in the same series.

Yeah. What a shame. Nokia is not marketing it as an internet tablet, it's the same level as the Nokia N97. What a bummer and im very disappointed.

I once dreamed of owning a Nokia 770 or a Nokia N800/N810 but none came to my country. Now that the N900 came, I was like "FUCK!! and I bought the Nokia N97. Nokia Philippines betrayed me" but Im still happy that I finally have one a few months after the Philippine debut.

It's my laptop as all six of us (including mom and dad) have our own laptops. I am the only one different.

It's a pretty bad ass phone if not a tablet anyways by the looks of it! That would be an iphone beater anyday.

One thing I hate about nokia is the stupid pixelated handshake logo they use on their phones -.-
