I can't believe that my flash drive has gotten infected and lost it's data.
I can recover it, but I can't find anything that will recover my files for free
If there is, can you tell me?
If not, all hope is lost, and I'll be a crying mess :'(

My suggestions were already covered, so I won't echo.

Take this event as an experience and a harsh lesson to learn from - always keep backups of your flash media. And always scan them and safely remove them to prevent future problems. Flash media just isn't reliable in the long run.
