What's the impact on the drive itself though? I remember in the past that using the actual product that you use to play/watch to rip media isn't a good idea because it supposely damages the drive over time.
They say if you gotta do a lot of them just get an actual drive, however if you're planning on just doing a couple here and then, then it shouldn't be too bad.

Anyway, so this thing rips Wii DVDs to an SD card, piece by piece. That means that with my SD card, I'd need 10 trips to rip a single game
