I don't know if this is the right place but I need help with retroarch and turbo fire

I can't get it to work on NES games. I enabled it in the controls and it still didn't work. I looked up that you have to go into RA's menu to enable it, I did. (I set it to toggle) and it still isn't working.

There are two ways to set turbo fire in RA.

The first one is by enabling the option in the Core Settings. I use QuickNes and it has it.

The second one is by going to Input -> Controller Port 1
And going nearly all the way down and assigning a key to "Turbo".

I was using FCEU or whatever it's called. I tried another core and it didn't work. I can set a button to turbo but can't toggle it.

That's strange, what version of RA are you using?

Try deleting Controller Config files, or going back to old stable version.
