Hacking I Backed up My Wii's Nand So I Can Recover From A Brick HELP

Okay so I backed up my Wiis nand now what.. I am not bricked, I am just preparing...

So i continue lalalaal OH NO I GOT BRICKED

Backing up your nand is like backing up your computer. It saves eveything at the moment you backed it up.
So in short as long as you can access bootmii on your wii you can restore to where it was.

ok thats awesome, but what if the boot mii only loads random at start, I find that it does that for me.. is there some way to make it all ways show up when you turn on the wii?

and a program i have to run to play burnt wii games, says it is possible it can brick my wii.

Please tell me not cIOSCorp/DarkCorp? IDK what feelings are on DarkCorp yet but it is unnecessary, just use cIOS249 base 38 rev 14 or 17 (best working for me) and a disk loader like NeoGamma

I take it you have BootMii boot2 installed? If so, having the BootMii files on the SD will make it always autoboot to BootMii unless you configure it otherwise.

You can always unbrick a wii if you are lucky to have Bootme installed as boot2, and your boot1 isn't corrupt. (ofcourse, u need to have ur nand-backup ready).

As far as unbricking a wii which has Bootme installed as IOS, i dont know whether that is possible, even if you can get to bootme via priiloader..

It is never a good idea to restore Wii using bootmii IOS. As bootmii IOS can possibly corrupt NAND entirely. Use boot2 version if possible.
